ABOUT ALI

Ali grew up in the UK, with a pen and a notepad in hand. Her older siblings had left home by the time she was ten, and so she lived in her imagination and devoured Agatha Christie novels.

She gained a degree in ancient history before moving to London, and then Sydney, to work in newspapers and magazines. In 2019, she wrote a booked called The Trivia night on a novel writing course. It went on to become an international bestseller.

WHAT’S NEXT…

Ali’s fourth book, The Private Island hits shelves on February 25 and she has signed a deal for novels five and six.

You are mostly likely to find her at her desk, with a cat on her lap and a coffee in her hand, googling all things macabre.
